Help Using Mybackuppro Kitkat

I am not rooted. I backup my old evo lte on the sd card. Installed the latest mybacvkuppro on the Note 3. The program says invalid directory. I've tried all sorts of directory to help it find the previous backups on the card. Is there another way?

I know Kitkat doesnt allow 3rd party app to write to the ext SD card but it should let apps read off it...right?

Not unless he app has read rights to that directory. Since that version of MyBackupPro didn't create the directory, and it's not running as superuser (because you're not rooted), it probably can't access the directory.
