Using phone for internet on laptop

I just got a laptop but I don't have internet is there anyway I can use mmy phone as a modem?

If you have not applied the update then you can do it for free under settings>wireless>tethering/hotspot. If you have applied the update then the only way to do it for free is to root it and get an app for tethering. Otherwise you will need to pay Sprint $30 a month for this feature.

I have been using Easytether for some time now and I love it. It's free if you don't need https. 9.99 for Easytether Pro if you do. It is not wireless however, you will need a USB cable.

I use PDANet, been using it for almost 2 years, its the best app on my phone(s). Free unless you want to access https web sites. According to their web site the full version is $16. I think I paid like $30 2 years ago but its the best $30 I ever spent.
