Help Using speaker during a call not good

When I use the speaker function on calls, the other callers cannot hear me clearly. I tested it myself with another phone, and I barely hear anything from the other phone. So there is either something wrong with my speaker/mic or the phone?

Anybody else having this trouble? Does anybody know what I'm talking about?


Should I take it to the store, and have it replaced?
 
No problem with that, but I have a hard time hearing them because the volume isn't high enough.

So since your speaker function is working fine on a call, I am assuming my mic is defective and i should take it to VZW for replacement?

Anybody else confirm their speaker/mic works fine on a call. Can the other person hear you fine?
 
I have been having similar problems - people will often complain that they cannot hear me when I have my phone set on speaker phone - not sure if it's a defect or not...anyone else experiencing this as well?
 
terrible speakerphone performance here...i can hear them ok (quiet, but functional), they can't hear me at all.
 
No trouble at all for me with the speakerphone. I use it pretty much all the time when I'm at home and on the phone.
 
Do you guys have cases on the phone that may be covering any of the mics? There is the obvious one on the front, but there are others on the bottom left corner and on the back. No idea which one speakerphone uses, but you may want to check that.
