Help Using the DHD in China

Hey everyone, can someone tell me whether I'm able to use the DHD in China? As far as I know China uses another network standard as in Europe. If I am able to use the DHD, I'm probably just able to call and text and not use the Internet (except WiFi), isn't it? Thank you! Best, Kai
