Using The FM Tuner

I am a bit late to the Volt game but have seen in other forums people trying all sorts of stuff to try and use the built in tuner with no success. Well it works fine. Just install the depreciated version of Spirt called Spirit UL. It works just fine. See screen.

I may try nextradio. The ui in spirit is clunky. Add it to me custom rom :P lol. Got full walkman working with clear phase audio and equalizer. Was tough getting it to work because the volt does not have a stand alone app that controls audio effects like most roms. Seems its built in to the music player or some other part of the system. Used a g2 walkman mod edited for our device. Works like a charm.

But Viper4Android will work as standalone controller, correct? (works on almost all devices as far as I know). Why not get developers permission and include that in the rom?

yeah but i worked out the issues with walkman using its own version of a dsp manager by editing the volt sound setup in to the g2 mod. works good. im opening up external sd write support atm. so far got apps permissions to write to external. now trying to get it so apps can be fully moved to external (with or without third party app). although the last part may end up just being the ability to move natively using third party app.
