Using the Gallery

Hi I am very new to this phone but fairly computer literate. My question is how do you file photos within the app "Gallery" I keep my files on my computer in named folders but I can not see how you get folders into "Gallery"

Could anyone let me know how this is don please.

Hello Patcope and welcome to Android Forums. The easiest way for you to sub divide or organize your photos would be to download a file manager for your phone.
If you check the Google Play Store you will find a number of different and free file managers available. Once you have a file manager in place you can created sub folders of the Gallery folder.. it's often named the DCIM folder. You can then move files of choice to this sub folder or that. They will show up in your Gallery as separate libraries. You can also create a DCIM folder on your SD card if you would enjoy storing your files beyond the phone's internal storage. The same sub folder structure would also apply. I hope this helps.
