Using the Gallery

I can't figure out how to delete pictures in the Gallery?

Some of the folders give me an option to delete a picture...
in others I can't delete them?

Confused on using the Gallery??

Usually just highlighting the photo by clicking it will give you the option in the top right to "trashcan" it...

Long pressing from when you get in the Gallery will delete entire albums.

My google+ background and display pics automatically loaded onto my note 2 and now i cant delete them... help?
