Help Using Twitter on my android phone

I am trying to figure out how to follow someone from the twitter app that came as an app on my phone.

I know there screen name.
I just have know Idea how to enter their name and start following them. I am sure this is very easy, but any help is greatly appreciated.

If you're in twitter, just type "@screenname" into the search bar. That inviduals home-screen will come up.

Once there you can "follow" them.
