Root Using VM Intercept on Sprint service.

I just bought a VM Intercept and was wondering if Sprint will let me use this phone on there network. Maybe by flashing to a Sprint Rom?
I was wondering if anyone had experience with this or something similar.

Pretty sure you can't because the esn won't be in their database, only in vm's. Plus why would you? It'll cost you more than vm, and its the same network.

I would like to switch because the company I work for has a discounted rate with Sprint that would give me Unlimited Data + 6000 anytime mins for $25.

6000 minutes!? Who needs 6000 a month?! But for $25 a month, good deal, i rarely ever text and when I do, sometimes I use a app that uses data for texting...
