Help USSD code problem

Hi , I'm using SAMSUNG GALAXY 5 I5503 , running android 2.1

When I dial any USSD code : ex. *100# , I get:
1. USSD code running
2. MMI completed

but nothing happens.

* It's the same problem that galaxy S with 2.1 has , the fix to galaxy S is to disable mobile tracking, unfortunately my galaxy 5 doesn't have this option .

Some say that android 2.2 fix this issue , but unfortunately my galaxy 5 doesn't have the official 2.2 update yet through samsung kies .

is there any fix to this issue ?

it seems to be related to android 2.1 , they say if u get android 2.2 for this phone , you won't have this problem any more
