Well, I've had this phone since September, and now, the port where you plug in the microUSB is starting to get really loose and wobbly. Is that sufficient enough to get a new phone, since it's going to be annoying if I'm going to be stuck with this for a year+...Maybe is there some kind of Mac alternate where it magnetically sticks into the slot or something of the sort?

You can call ATT to start a warranty replacement. Is it causing a charging issue? I had a phone that had a loose usb port and I had to plug it in and hold it for a few secs in order for it to start charging, very annoying. I would try to get it replaced before it has charging problems. Just note ATT will send you a refurb phone, unless you have the insurancr and want to pay the $125 deductible for a new one.

They will probably say it had pressure applied to it and won't cover it. They just don't "go bad" like someone would think. It's the same scenario as laptops where the power cord is pulled too hard and it screws up your DC jack.
