Help Various issues

just bought p500 less than 2 days ago. and the battery is draining really quick. anyways. if someone managed to install flash 10.1. pls tell me how to. im a newb to this whole android thing.
 
same here, my battery easily drain, i think just for a day, s this normal
but in terms of flash, this unit i bought already has a youtube player, which plays nicely, no problem at all..
 
Flash 10.1 works out of the box....

If you could dig up the .apk from your phone and post it somewhere, maybe someone could package it into an installable .zip so we all could use it :) would be nice... (I assume the indian p500 doesn't magically include an armv7 processor)

get the ringdroid app on the market. you can modify downloaded songs and set them as ringtones, notification tones even alarms
 
I retract my statement that Flash 10.1 is installed on the India phones. Though, it is boldly written on the box. There is NO FLASH installed in the phone!

What a Con ! :(
 
Can anyone help me pls, how can i change the download settings so that the new downloads are downloaded to the SD card and not to the phone directly. It just keeps giving me the error message that there isn't enough place on the phone :/
 
can i make the main menu to rotate in landscape mode ? or landscape is only for messages and games?

after reading a lot on galaxy 5 and optimus one,i m confused which one to pick.galaxy 5 does have an edgse of less price but i need froyo.Also,ihave read alot about hangingand restarting problems inoptimus one as well as galaxy5 on this forum.
both the handsets have some serious problems.what to do plz help
i require a phone with android os and good internet speed as well as good screen

Optimus one has a much better screen resolution but a worse screen :) (color depth is worse).

But having Froyo and a promised update to Gingerbread is worth something ;)

My phone doesn't hang or restart at all, but I read that it might have something to do with using a slow microSD (buying a class 6 seems to solve the problem for some people).

Internet speed and reception (both phone and 3G) are very good in my opinion.
 
if anyone has cracked this issue by now, please update here. flash 10.1 is written on box but not found/possible to install so really great if someone has final answer

Hi, sorry but I really don't see the point of installing astro file manager, because by default we already have I/O Manager. Unless something is missing or different between them? It'll help if anyone would share :)

Just bought my P500 less than a month ago. :) I find it really nice for it's price, espcially the promise of 2.3. But just a question though, do angry birds run really slow on your phone? =/
 
hi ya

im new to android n just got an optimus 1.

i cant seem to get the apps to connect to the net nor can i add my gmail account to sync it witht the phone.

the browser works fine n i can connect to the net from there.

help plz

Hey,

I don't have the I/O manager. Maybe part of your 'branding' pack?

Angry Birds is just playable (some screens show a lot of lag, though)
 
Hello, can anyone please help me on this, How can I connect lg o1 as modem to my pc? i searched a lot on google but i failed to find any solution. please help me on this.. also do tell me the procedure..please.
 
Just download quick settings ( the one with the green icon). Open and tap menu button. Customize and you will see hidden settings. Move wifi hotspot up to the visible settings by grabbing icon on right of screen.

Then all you need to do is open quick settings press wi fi hotspot and laptop can connect through phone.
 
Hey guys, how can i put my photo in the message thread. I already tried adding my own number in contacts but it didn't work. I also added photo in my gmail account but nothing happened.
 
Hey i purchased lg P-500 2 week back. i am not able to sart gtalk and Andriod market.
Please help me. Am also not able to connect my phone as modem.
