Root verify goldcard

Hi all,

Is there any way to verify if my goldcard is good? Sorry if this has been answered before. Thanks.
 
I don't think there is, it's literally try and see - if it fails you won't lose anything s it'll just reboot
 
The only way I know is that if the hex editor that you used to make the card with DID NOT ask you to reformat your card after it had finished then you have a goldcard, but this is far from certain.
 
The RUU I flashed yesterday asked if I wanted to proceed with the update after the CID had been passed? So again wait for guidance on this but if the RUU doesn't make any changes to your phone before that point, that would be another way to verify.

Anybody have any thoughts?
 
The main thing would be an RUU failing on the CID check, this would show it not to be working

Thanks Completely hatstand. I followed the guide to creat a goldcard, which didn't ask for reformatting. So I assume I have a goldcard. :)

Exactly. My main point though is that you dont want people flashing RUU's if it makes undesirable changes before asking to proceed, which I don't think it does as that would somewhat nullify the CID check.
