[Verizon] A few tips if returning back to stock!

Rooted with wug's, and flashed JB and a few mods. Verizon is sending me a new GNEX due to dropping data while my S3 does not drop, ever.

Any pointers. thanks, guys!

I booted into recovery, and there is a back-up in the clockwork mod folder, which should be stock image

that backup image will help you a little. but honestly i would follow this method. It's fast , easy , and works great. Plus it's good to know how to do this anyways.

If I was to use the last method on that link, would I shortly get a OTA to 4.0.4?

It's tempting..wis the "working folder" anyone of my choice? Also, the fast boot part, I should have that if I'm rooted, correct? I'm sorry, I'm a n00b.

volume dwn and PwR gets you into Odin Mode. You don't want that.

fastboot exists no matter what. To get into fastboot mode you from a powered off state you hold PWR and Volume Down at the same time. That puts you in Fastboot Mode.

As opposed to the both volume buttons +power to get to recovery?

Not trying to hijack this thread but as it's closed I just wanted to mention Wugs is pretty sweet (painless and simple) to those new to rooting. The process is a piece of cake once you've done it a few times but getting root access can be a little overwhelming your first time around and this simplifies the process.
