If your pictures are that sensitive, I suggest just plugging into your computer via usb periodically and copying to your computer. Sounds like you are reluctant to try anything else.

I’ve just installed an app called Dumpster - Recycle Bin from Google play
and it seems that this app can restore files just like the recycle bin on a windows PC.

Now i don't have to worry about that mistake happening again

It’s not perfect, but still i can see it being handy.
