Root [Verizon] Another battery life post

DARN IT! I must REALLY not understand how to use this BetterBatteryStats app. I thought I had done as instructed by fully charging overnight then using the device as normal and then as I get into the 20 - 30% range I was to take some various readings within the app. Well, I just openef the app and I cannot get any reading from any of the settings! See the attached ss...

Please, tell me what I am doing wrong  Thanks

EDIT: DARN IT again!!! I had flashed TWRP 2.4 this afternoon THEN (like a DOLT!) I booted to recovery to see the 'new' TWRP!! What a DUMB^$$ :-(

What about "since unplugged"?

Pretty sure I tried 'em all and nothin'!

Oh well too late I plugged it in half hour ago...I was down to 33-32% just after ~8hr. Iam getting really anxious to get this resolved because I'm ready to flash back to 5.5.1 with a known excellent battery life :smokingsomb: :D

No Dk . . . thats my screenshot! A cycled battery as I call it is a battery that can`t deep cycle (discharge slowly over time) anymore . . . meaning that when fully charged, or what you THINK is fully charged, Has reduced discharge time. Example: A good battery = fully charged to 100% will yeild results like I`m getting now . . . still @ 94% after almost 9 hours of standby.A cycled battery = charged fully - in the same phone - will discharge much faster as it`s capacity, or ability to hold charge is reduced. Just speculation here . . . you might try another battery before you spend lotsa time diagnosing erronious consumption in your device that may not even be there . . .

I`m sure I spelled that fancy word wrong . . . !

Thanks for the very good explanation...

What's puzzeling to me is that all this has started since doing the 5.6 update, modem and RPM flash, and new Lean kernel! Seems tooo coincidental :)

I`ve been reading your other thread . . . With the same rom/kernel combination on the same device, you have drastic battery drain, wheras I have phenominal battery life. The only difference is the modem & rpm. Do you have the original/previous versions you were using ? If so I would go back to them & see what happens . . .

I don`t think it`s the rom. I`m running 5.6 & the battery life is the best I`ve had yet. The only other changes you have made were the modem & rpm. I would go back to what you had before & see what happens . . .

I actually thought of that but not sure how I'd go about getting them from my nandroid of 5.5.1! Any idea?

I did go ahead and flashed different rpm and modem...VRBLK1 rpm and VRLK1 modem.

We'll see :smokingsomb:
