[Verizon] Anyone using Google Ears yet?

So, I installed the apk/lib files and tried it out. Ill give it a few more go's, but even on my wifi at home, it took way too long during the search. Ill say, at least 10sec. And it kept recording all the way until the end of the space given.

If this is how it is, it sucks!

Soundhound will recognize a lot quicker and comes back with a result quicker as well, even on a cell network.

Here is what it looks like.

Glad you asked this strodda I forgot all about it. I just tried it on various songs and it came back with a result each time within 5 seconds. I'm very impressed, I come from shazam app and it's nice to have this built into my ROM

It works great. That being said I am still using sound hound since I can look up lyrics with it. Also I wish it had an app icon instead of just a widget. I have a very clean home screen and I don't want this huge widget on it.

One can use nova to make it invisible, or anything they want, so there are other options than having a "huge widget" on a screen

edit: on second thought maybe I can't  will try and report back
