[Verizon] App To Pair Up GNexus & TV

Hi,

What app can I use to pair up my GNexus and my Samsung 5300 SmartTV?

I would like to be able to use my cell phone as a remote control, thanks.

The only one I know of is for use with Google TV, but since yours is a Samsung SmartTV, it wouldn't work.

I use Skifta, but I like the media server performance of the PS3 a lot better than the TV, I have one of those new 55's. Never been able to stream video taken from my phone though.

I don't know of an app that lets you use the phone as a remote but the app Swype-It is pretty awesome. It lets you flick pictures and video straight up to the tv! Really easy to set up and use

Samsung has their own app that you can download and control your TV with your smartphone. I have no idea how well it works, but I use one with my Panasonic and it works wonderfully. This is probably the only reason for me to get a smart TV. I don't care for the clunky and slow interface of their own "apps."
