Root [Verizon] apps icon different from desktop

After launching apps icon, I notice apps inside the app are not the same on the desktop apps. Some apps on desktop are not there inside the apps icon.

I find something. I now see I cannot remove any app inside app icon.

try long pressing the icon on the desktop and select edit then click on the icon now select where your icon of choice select you icon now hit ok your done

I just notice that apps inside app icon cannot be removed, but the desktop app is removable. I will try yours now.

Now I see. The app icon is actually operating, arranging, editing of all apps on desktop. Some apps that are not able to remove may be likely done with Application Manager in Settings. Those who cannot has to belong to Samsung embedded in chips.
