Root [Verizon] Brick help

VS980 I have no recovery/download mode. No LED, backlight, animation. Only vibrates continuously after being plugged in. Don't know if it was rooted.
 
Plug it into a windows machine and check device manager. If it shows as qhsusb_bulk, you may be able to fix it with Linux. (full build, VM, or live disc). If not, it isn't recoverable by any means I'm aware of.
