Help Verizon call reception issue

I've noticed with the Verizon version the call reception is not clear. I hear popping sounds when the volume is up a bit.

I've noticed with the Verizon version the call reception is not clear. I hear popping sounds when the volume is up a bit.

I noticed this too on Sprint, I'm sure there will be an update to address this. I am happy with everything else about this phone.

I am waiting for a root or workaround to use my phone as a wifi hotspot. The $20 a month Sprint charges for this feature is dumb for me, I only use it for about 20 minutes to an hour a month (rooted) on my old phone, not worth f*cking around with changing my plan before work trips to get this feature.
