I have CWR installed but everything is wiped so I can't recovery anything. I also cannot connect to my PC. (MTP won't install)

What can I do?...

When you say everything is wiped, do you mean that everything on the sd card is gone too? If not, just flash a rom you have on the sd card.

Everything on SD is wiped. Correct. If I could only get my PC to connect to the Nexus...%^&@! MTP won't install or I could conceivably fix everything

You don't need the mtp drivers, you need the adb drivers to install, which you can do manually. Once you do that, you can use the adb commands to push files to your phone to use in recovery, or fast boot commands to flash the nexus stock image.

Never mind...for now anyway. I'm looking through the other options in Wugs now. Looks like I'll be able to do this. The PC appears to be connected to the Nexus...or so it seems

I ended up doing the "Flash Stock + Unroot" option as a "Soft-Bricked/Bootloop" to get it up and running again. It's all good now. The device is working just fine.

If I remember correctly, it seems I was unable to connect Wugs to the Gnex initially after my dumb *** bricked it. (don't ask) *lol*...Regardless, it's working now. Thanks to all who responded!

Yes I agree use wugs nexus root toolkit..that will help you with your issue and it will even walk you through on what to install for drivers if needed... Just Google wugs nexus toolkit download it..select your nexus version and it's all gravy from there

Glad you got it back up & running Indrid. The Galaxy Nexus is virtually un-brickable: it can recover from just about any catastrophe.

I say "virtually" because there ARE ways to make it a paperweight, but you really have to work at it ;)

Wugs is very good and another not to be without is the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit over at skipsoft.net.

The latter has more features and has saved my bacon many a time. For a donation of your discretion you get life time updates.

I highly suggest having both of them in your tool box.
