[Verizon] Can't reroot after latest update

Hoping you guys can help me. I was originally stock and rooted using this method:

Got the update last night which broke root.

I went to just walk through the steps to reroot and for the life of me can't find the original files I worked with, and the main concern is the boot.cdma.img file. I downloaded another copy from this link

I thought that only worked if you used it to backup root first.

I rerooted using wugs toolkit, which essentially pushed su.zip and cwm through adb, rebooted into recovery, at which point I manually installed su.zip (install zip from sd | choose su.zip | yes to install) then rebooted. I did have to go into SU on my device and install new binaries, but once I did that root was back.

I used the DL ROM to get the IMM76K rom. I had the same problem as Unforgiven, the binaries needed to be new for that rom. I found them in this post by Scary Alien:

I just overwrote the old su.zip on my sd card with this one, rebooted into recovery, installed the new su.zip from sd card, and viola, root.

But I still had CWM recovery on my phone, since I didn't take the update OTA. You will need to get that on your phone. Unforgiven's method is what you want.

I downloaded the latest insecure boot.img from here:

[ROM]IMM30B 4.0.4 Stock,rooted,deodexed,zipaligned,busybox,insecure boot + mods zips - xda-developers

and the latest superuser.apk and su files from a link in here:

and everything worked great. Thanks to everyone and everyone in those links.
