Verizon Car Dock - Bitter

So I was trolling tech blogs when I came across one that says the Verizon (LTE) car dock for the GNex will not charge the phone via the 3 pin connector. Instead, they have a cut out so you can plug in the micro USB.

Now, I ordered one on Friday and now I am waiting for it to come in so I can return it. The connector charging was the only reason I would buy a non universal car dock.

Come on Verizon...! Stop trying to sabotage this phone!

Yeah this phone's release has been pretty bitter sweet. I've tried to research to see if the GSM version of the car dock will work with the LTE but I haven't really found a concrete answer yet. I'm crossing my fingers though. I will gladly pay the extra fee's to import one of them!

Same.. I am getting a thin case for it, so I would have to remove the case just to put it in this dock. If I have to plug it in too, then forget it. I would rather get a universal dock.
