[Verizon] Charging Notification problem

So ever since I rooted, my phone has told me it is charging when it is not. It is not constant, but when I have low battery, I will constantly get a low battery pop up and the beep sound (once every 10 seconds or so), just as if I have taken it off the charger. It little lightning bolt in the battery cycles with this, too.

So, I am in the process of unrooting and flashing to stock to see if that solves it. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Odd. So you're still on the VZ stock 4.0.2 ROM, but rooted and this only happened since rooting?

I've not heard of this.

So how'd it turn out did you un-root and was it fixed if so?

It just sort of went away. I have not done anything but reboot, but that has not helped it before. If it comes back, I will have to unroot.

And...it's back. Looks like it happens only on low battery or low signal. Or both. Not sure. Whatever it is, I will experiment tomorrow. I am too tired today.

Just an update if anyone has this problem:

It seems to be hardware, as totally stock did it, too. So tomorrow I am returning my phone.

Same issue here on a stock, non rooted GN.
