[Verizon] Default JB browser to desktop view?

I'm with you Dabitz. browser + was my favorite by far. It looks as though the developer hasn't been updating it for a while now. I found another app that was similar. I can't remember the name now but it didn't work.

The "request desktop site" doesn't work well with sites that dump you off into mobile sub-domains.

Frequently, you'll land on a site, it'll see you're on a mobile browser, and send you off to m.sitename.com or whatever. From that point on, no matter what browser ID is sent to it, it will always return a mobile site.

The trouble is that when you try to go back to www.sitename.com, you again present a mobile ID, and thus get shipped off to m.sitename.com... etc.

Interesting thanks for the info. I've never had an issue with the request desktop site feature

Just an update for me. I have found that the stock browser has pretty much the same functionality as browser+. I'm ok with it. The only issue is that Swype won't type in the text boxes.
