This app was used on the S3 and now also works on the Note 2.
While not quite the same as apps to SD, it works well, it just takes a few extra steps to accomplish.
I was down to 800 mb on my new 16gb Note 2. After moving my Game Loft games (backstab, batman dark knight, spiderman, and another) and my stand alone GPS application, I was able to free up about 5gb on the internal phone. Says in effect after shut down, restart.

What a life saver!

You do need root though. Follow this guide on XDA.

This isn't to move the app to the sd, but the app data. This is huge for games that have large app data (uses internal memory for settings/cache/etc.).

This is also huge for those who cache music with Google Play Music or Spotify/Pandora/Rhapsody.. You can use this app to save those song files on your external SD card and save precious internal memory for more apps/performance !!!
