Root [Verizon] Does the JB update block current root methods?

Sorry if this has been asked, but I didn't see it anywhere. Will the current root methods work after the Jelly Bean update? I'm currently not rooted, but I don't like the idea of losing the option. Thanks.
 
from what i understand the exploit has been blocked...however you can still root its just slightly more complicated...

although you could root now and flash a pre-rooted version of the OTA right now...its been available for over a week

Thanks. I've been holding off on rooting since I had to get a replacement device a while back and didn't want to run into warranty issues if it happened again. Can you give any more details on the root method that is still working?
