Hi,
I'm looking to sell my old galaxy nexus, as I've bought a SIII, so I wiped everything off the phone. Unfortunately I had enabled the encryption which is refusing to be removed.
I'm not a techy guy at all, so looking on some of the threads here has totally confused me.
My phone looks like it was a Verizon phone but the previous owner has unlocked it.
When I try to do a full factory reset using the 'hold down volume buttons' thingy I get the following error:
Error mounting /sdcard/.android_secure!
In layman's terms, what does this mean and how do I go about removing the encryption?
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks for your help.
Tom
