Just got back from Verizon corporate store, while I was there the sales associate informed me the thunderbolt extended battery w case was only 24.99... I thought it to be a steal so I got two, but if your looking for one just letting you all know in case some are looking to buy one.

They should just give us the battery as a thank you for putting up with the TB.

Thats weird, I called back today and the sales rep said they still were and theres no date yet on when the sale will end... Did you go to a corporate? I know it can be shipped, if anyones interested PM me and I can send the stores phone number and person to talk to, i'm sure he can ship it to anywhere...

battery life with shifts3ns3 isnt bad either, but now its just incredibly awesome :) Guess im just a bit greedy lol

Yea, that's a great ROM for battery life! Too bad no NFL

No.
I'm looking at this one just so I don't have the hunchback and have to get a new case

HTC Thunderbolt Verizon LTE 4G 1700mAhx2 Battery+Dock USB Charger PD42100

At first I was weary about the hunchback, I like my phones to be simple and slim and I didn't think I'd like it at all, but to be honest after a day with it, I don't even notice it at all... Realized I don't really look at the back of my phone much lol

Hmmm might head over to the local store and see tomorrow. I'd like an extended battery. Will a regular case still fit?
I dont think it will, i have been looking online for a new case with my new battery and they are all different, the battery is a little bit thicker now.

Rooted with Liquid 3.0 ROM and battery life isn't an issue for me. On original phone with stock battery.

i've got the same ROM on my phone and going 24 hours on 4g is no issue for me with the stock battery. before i rooted, i was lucky to get more than 12 hours. i almost got the extended battery, but decided to wait until after i rooted, because i really hate having that awkward hump on the back of the phone. rooting allows you to run de-bloated ROMs that are much easier on the battery. the only downside i've seen is no NFL mobile, but i don't watch football, so it's a non-issue for me.

Just picked one up myself, thanks for the info! They said all their 4G phone extended batteries are 50% off right now... or so they told me.

I recieved one free from Verizon because they didn't ship me a normal battery after trying out a droid charge they let me try beacuse I went through 6 refurb tbolts. Had to go back, the tbolt screen isn't as good, but in almost every way it is faster and more capable. I love this extended battery, I don't have to charge it all day and it lasts from morning to night. At first I said I didn't want one, but I am very glad I went for it. And by the way, my tbolt works flawlessly, was going to upgrade but why should I? The tbolt does everthing I need it to do and works great. For now I will save my money and continue to enjoy a great device that goes all day on 1 charge.

I wonder if they will give me credit or cash back since I paid full price the day these batteries were supposedly on sale..

too bad their not on sale anymore :( I called my local verizon and the deal is no longer in active :/

I just bought one for $27.99 yesterday the 5th. I just went in to see, and the box still said $59.99, but I asked him to check the computer's price. Sure enough, $27 :D It's been unplugged for 18hrs now, and still at 60%

Thanks for the link but that battery is only 1700mAh whereas the Verizon extended is 2750mAh, so not really as good an alternative is it? Not being an a$$, as I really don't know a lot about these batteries and I see the one above described as "x2" so don't know if that is 1700x2 as in two batteries included or what?

I did go to the verizon store today to look at the battery and see if it was on sale but I didnt see any on the sales floor and they were packed full of people and I didnt feel like waiting around. Might give them a call later.
