Verizon - Fingerprint web sign-in

I am having trouble activating the fingerprint web sign-in feature on my new S6.

I am on Verizon, and I have tried in both the default Touch Wiz launcher as well as Apex Launcher.


The problem is, there is no check box on the fingerprint settings menu to enable the feature. I have attached a screenshot of the settings menu so you can see what I'm talking about.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there an easy solution I am overlooking? Some sort of advanced functionality I have to enable?

Oddly, when I do a search for "web sign-in" within the settings menu I get taken to this menu even though the option isn't there. I'm very confused.

I have the same problem. My fingerprint settings menu looks exactly like yours. I hope it doesn't turn out to be an option that's not included on Verizon version of the phones.

Same thing here, Verizon S6. Very confusing since 99% of guides/tips say turn this on for use with default browser. I did read this was a coming soon feature on one site But this is not verified - very annoying at the moment tho.

My stock browser is Chrome... hearing I need Samsung stock browser for this to work but it is not in my phone anywhere...any ideas? Are Verizon phones missing a cool feature?

I'm glad to hear it's not just my phone, kind of. Sounds like it might be a Verizon thing unfortunately.

Anyone else have this issue? Any found out how to get around this? I'd really like to start using my fingerprint.

We need Samsung's stock browser to start with, which seems to be unavailable. Verizon as well as all of the other carriers omitted a LOT of software that was advertised by samsung. I believe this sign on feature was omitted by Verizon but nothing conforms this. This article does a decent job with it.
