Root [Verizon] Flashed SynergyROM SGS3, WiFi not working

true

Well-Known Member
any ideas?

i made a backup with cwm and followed the instructions to the tee. successfully rooted and flashed synergyrom, everything seems to be working fine except for wifi. i cant use the drop down toolbar or turn it on through settings.

anyone else have this issue?
a fix, maybe?

nevermind. the bootloader just needed to be unlocked.

i flashed my backup, unlocked the bootloader, then flashed SynergyROM again.
all is well!

I have a "signature verification failed" after i tried to install Synergy Rom. Were you getting that error?

Boot into recovery - clean cache, data etc (did it a couple of times)

When I "apply update from external storage" and select the CleanRom 5.5.1.zip I get:
-- Install /sdcard/MEM ... (i have the cleanrom in this directory)
finding update package...
Opening update package ...
Verifying update package ...
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.

Anyone have any next steps for me to try?

Welcome Reelhaad! :D
Glad to have you here!
Let's see what we can do for ya...

As Metfanant stated, is your bootloader unlocked?
What recovery are you using and what version?

Edit: try selecting "install .zip from sd card" instead of "apply sd card update .zip"
