Root [Verizon] flashing kernal with safestrap

my s4 had mk2 preloaded so i rooted using saferoot and currently have safestrap. i flashed hyperdrive rls15 but found out i needed to flash the kernal (or modules) after flashing the rom.
not really sure how, cant seem to find the kernal to flash.

What version of Android are you on? If it's 4.3, you can ony use Samsung-derived ROMs (IOW, the stock ROM, modified) and you can't flash kernels. If you're on an earlier version, why are you using Safestrap (other than for safety purposes)?

My phone came with mk2 and has 4.3.
With safestrap I was Able to flash hyperdrive using the rom slots or partitions safestrap makes. After doing a little bit of research I read that I need to flash the kernel modules after flashing the rom and that is why the wife doesn't work when running els 15 on my device
