I have tried flashing a different gapps so that I can flash the cm 11 nightlies...I usually use goo manager and I have the latest TWRP installed. Everytime it fails on install saying that there isn't enough space. I have tried installing the stock gapps and mini modular gapps. Am I doing something wrong ( I have to be) or is there something going on with my phone. I am currently running cm 10.2.3 I think....whatever the last version before the switch to cm 11. Your help will be much appreciated. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and helping me.

gapps-kk-20140105-signed.zip on goo.im is 83.14MB.

If you still have the CM11 zip stored locally, try deleting that. It should free up at least that much space.

sorry for the very late reply. but it worked after I deleted the other roms and gapps i didnt need. thank you so much.

Glad you got something working for you.

But for the readers, but there isn't a need to flash the latest gapps before flashing a newer ROM. In fact, usually you would flash the ROM first, then the gapps package right afterwards before booting into android.

Maybe you meant the latest recovery?
