Verizon getting Moto Calgary

Well it seems that the people at BGR have managed to get their hands on where the Motorola's Sidekick Slide look-a-like is headed to Verizon.
The phone is supposed to be a mid-low end alternative to the Droid.

Calgary is more like an undercover CLIQ. Though based on the pics it seems the phone is running 1.5, the back plate says M BLUR.
One can assume the phone will have Motorola's BLUR.
The interactive and intertwined social UI.

This is what my girl wants. She doesn't really want the Moto Droid, as she is not really with all its TECH.
The Calgary seems to be more her speed.

Moto needs to do something to make its phones look more refined..Out of all its new Android phones, the Droid is the only one that I think the average consumer would see as "good looking" (and that's a stretch).

The cliq isn't bad looking. The droid is not that much better looking either. I think this is just going to be a $100 phone they will throw out for people who want a keyboard, but can't afford the Droid.

Seriously, I have never heard anyone say this is a good looking phone, in fact it is a pretty ugly phone. I have the droid and it is by far the ugliest phone I have ever owned. But it works and I like it, it is just a very ugly, very functional, very useful phone

When did they Design this phone? it has the ugly style of phones from the last 90's and early 2000's
