Help Verizon GS3 Gallery Not Showing Up

For the last two days my phone has been acting up. And I have not even downloaded anything lately. My Media/Downloads has been draining my battery like crazy waking it up and not letting it sleep. And my gallery has disappeared but the photos are still on the card. I don't understand.

Does anyone have and insight to this?

did anything happen just before it started like a firmware update or anything?

That's an odd one. Have you tried doing a hard reboot by pulling the battery for a minute and then replacing and powering back up? Sometimes something as simple as that will clear the funky problems phones encounter now and then. I hope this helps.

I have tried all of the above as well as a factory reset. My stock gallery doesn't load my pictures. I have Quickpic on my phone and it loads them fine. Guess I'm setting that to default.

Have you moved your pics to a different folder or something mate?
Quickpic is a much better gallery app anyway :thumbup:
Just disable the stock gallery in App Manager if u think its chewing battery
