[Verizon] Help needed, I'm cleaning stuff up on my "SD Card"

How do I format the sd portion of the memory? Is there a program that will allow me to "cherry pick" what I want to keep and not? Everything I find just wipes the whole thing.
Lost here, any help, or pointed in another direction would be appreciated.
Thanks!!

AFAIK, your best bet is to copy the whole contents of your virtual sdcard to your computer and then do the wipe. Afterwards pick and chose what part of your backup you want to replace/restore. That was the long answer.

The short answer is that I have never known of any way to "cherry pick" what part of your sd card, physical or virtual, you can wipe. The same was true with the Motorola A855 (Droid 1/OG Droid).

good luck

I agree with Teddy. Always make a backup, and site it on your computer. Make sure you did a nandroid already and it is on your computer.
1. Boot into CWM Recovery.
2. Go to advanced.
3. Go to storage.
4. Format sdcard, ONLY!
5. Reboot, download your new ROM, Gapps and flash as normal.

ONLY FORMAT THE SDCARD, AND NOTHING ELSE. If you do you may need to use abd and push stuff to your phone.

You can also use sd maid from the market.

Awesome!!! Thank you, CWM totally slipped through my brain cells. Already have a ROM and gapps on my comp. Doing this after work! As always. The people on this forum are the best!
