[Verizon] Hotspot issue with customer kernel

ok here is the problem im having when i flash a rom and a stock kernal my native tethering and hotspot through setting work just fine no problems but anytime i have a customer kernel it breaks my native hotspot and it no longer works it will turn on but wont keep the 4g connection but when i flash back to the stock kernel the native hotspot works just fine again is there any fix to this at this moment in time.... ***fyi im able to use wifi tether app no matter if its a customer kernel or stock kernel

I thought I had posted a reply to this... maybe it was s imilar issue on another thread.

Try using a widgetsoid widget to toggle your hotspot. There is something different about the way it turns it on and off. Probably wont fix your issues, but never know...
