So, I thought I'd post this poll for kicks. I posted my other poll about the favorite way to root the i515 before I had it in my hands. Now I have it, love it and for kicks and fun will post this poll to see how quickly I/we/you rooted it.

And this poll will be multi so that you can select the best selection and then your real answer.

TIA and enjoy!

WOW only 24 views and only 5 voters???

Just kidding. I rooted at about 48 hours. Voted for both that and bacon. I like bacon.

Might have to bump this every now and then just for fun (as long as it doesn't piss off Steven or the other mods. . .)

Thanks.

I booted it long enough to make sure it was functional, and plugged it in.

As soon as it hit full charge, I unlocked and rooted it.

Was gonna say...need a little longer options. I literally JUST did mine this past Thursday night, and bought the phone on launch day. Never really had a NEED to root, but finally decided to take the plunge and give it a go (had never Rooted a phone before). Super Easy with the Nexus Tool Kit, and loving it since! So whatever time frame I'm in, that's my vote. lol.

about 7 months. basically once a good and stable JellyBean ROM came out was what took me to root it.

i have always tended to root to get the latest OS. and as a side benefit- to speed up the phone a lil bit.

Brought my phone home at 9 pm.was rooted by 12 am...Lol and most of this at time was waiting for the wife and kids to fall asleep

Bought it drove home sent a few texts, copied pics/vids/music from old phone. Downloaded Tool Kit and Rooted away

I rooted that day or the day after, before it was easy. I had to. HAD to I tell ya!

Four days. Which is how long it took until it needed a reboot (SIM card error). I had already downloaded the drivers, and files I needed. Instead of rebooting, I plugged in, backed up my sd, rebooted to bootloader, unlocked and rooted... Figured why waste a perfectly good boot cycle :-D

I picked 4 weeks, but it was really 9 months. (really really skeered I guess!) Until Jelly Bean dropped I didn't really focus on the root stuff, but now I'm freaking hooked. Just recently I convinced a guy here at work who has been a HTC lover for the past 4 years to get a SIII, then I convinced him to root it the day after he got it! :burnout:
