problem is I have a warranty for my phone so I'm afraid of messing with it/rooting it and voiding that warranty. I'm a pretty clumsy person so as much as I try to protect my phone with a case I really need the warranty to make sure I don't wind up empty handed after a drop. is there anyway to get around this possibly without rooting my phone...? help.

Your warranty isn't voided by rooting and unlocking. Law states they have to cover anything physically wrong regardless. Now if you brick it you're out of luck.

Why would you possibly expect that?

Verizon has a payment agreement with ISIS. I don't think they'll ever allow you to install Google Wallet.

I think the same argument that was made that b*tch slapped them into having to allow access to the tethering apps will slap them over Wallet.

It is against the law for Verizon to limit what your phone can do. That is why you can tether for free, transfer via blu tooth, use Google Maps, they can not throttle you and you will soon be using Wallet. On a LTE phone, they are also in violation of Block C agreements that says they can not restrict what you do with your phone.

Now if you really want to get into it you can write a complaint to the DOJ for Verizon monopolizing the market by blocking one service in favor of their own. That is a big no no and Verizon got in trouble for that before.

Ok. I guess we'll see. I sure hope they make it easier to use Google Wallet. If they are blocking Google Wallet, they should at least have their ISIS ready to go then.
