Root [Verizon] I think I may have bricked...I need serious help.

So I was in the process of running casual to unlock the bootloader. the process went on for some time and then said it failed and stopped. however, it did not restart my phone and it was stuck on the screen with the android guy. i didnt know what else to do so i took the battery out to shut it off. now whenever i try to turn it on, all it does is flash the "galaxy note 2" screen, shut off, flash the screen again, shut off, and so on and so forth. did i ruin my phone or is there something i can do to fix this. i appreciate any help and i need it asap

Welcome jdstapleton6!
Glad to have you join us!
Is this the link you followed for the Casual Root?
[Jailbreak][Root][Recovery] No You Verizon -VRAMC3 --update 10MAY13 - xda-developers

The reason I ask, is to make sure you have followed all the directions to a "T":)
Have you checked the md5 of the download of the Casual file? (the md5 is a verification for the integrity of the download....if the md5 number for the download matches the md5 in the download link, the file is good...if it does not, the file is corrupt)

I would try to run Casual again.
Do you have Java installed and updated?
Are you on Windows 7 or 8 or earlier?

yes, that link provided is what i used.
i have no idea how to check the md5
java is installed, not sure about updated.
im on windows 7

i cannot try running it again because my phone wont turn on. it just flashes "samsung galaxy note 2" screen when i press the power button over and over.

thank you for your prompt response. i love my phone and im freaking out :(

that's what i've been trying to do. i found the recovery stock file and everything. i know the computer recognizes the phone. i've plugged it into all three usb ports and all three ports have successfully downloaded the drivers. however, odin 3.07 will not recognize the phone so i can move along with the process. i've tried all the usb ports on my computer, restarting the computer, going back into download mode on the phone...nothing will work for odin to recognize it.

i was working with 3.07
i looked at 3.09 but it didnt have the PDA option on it that i saw
i just opened 1.85 and no connection. however i noticed that you can edit the ID:COM area...is there a way i could manually enter in my phone?

Not sure :hmmmm:
Do you have access to another computer to try this on?
Seems like you have done everything that I can think of for ODIN to recognize your device:
Different usb ports.
Different cords.
Rebooting computer.
No Kies.
Uninstalling Casual drivers. (did you download the normal drivers?)
