Verizon Incredible 2 Release Date

I went to Verizon today and asked to see the Incredible 2. The sales rep said he didn't have one available to demo. He said that it will be for sale on Thursday, though. When I asked if he was sure, he asked another sales rep who said, "Yeah, the 28th."

I called three other stores in my area and they all said that they did not have any in the store, yet.
 
Im really hoping that this phone isn't $199. I've been trying to decide between this and the t-bolt. I was hoping that with this phone not being 4g, that the price difference would be significant enough to make my decision for me. $50 difference isnt enough, thats not even a full tank of gas.
 
Went to a Verizon store just now, they didn't have the demo in, but said they got the sales booklets. They also stated that the Inc2 would be $299.... WTF!? I think I'll just have Asurion replace my Eris for an Inc1 for $50 and just wait for the Inc3
 
I called a Verizon store today to see if I could reserve one, and the salesman told me not to worry about it because they will have 40. So, if anyone is wondering how many stores should be getting, there you go.

yeah that really doesn't apply. Every store is different. "Your" store may be getting 40, but some stores may only get 5 , some may get more than 40. There is never a set amount across All stores for any release.

Yeah, that is true. But I brought up the launch of the original Incredible and he seemed pretty certain this launch wouldn't be a repeat. I've heard that before, though. Hopefully the lack of 4G will keep the crowd down so I can be sure to get one on Thursday. :D

He's exactly right. They ended 1 year contracts on April 17.

Retail is the un subsidized price which will probably be 499$-599$ or more. I'm hoping it's 499$ or lower.
 
Of all the specs that have come out, I think there is one that is missing, and it has been lingering in my mind. What's the ON BOARD storage? ya know, for apps that STILL can't go the SD?
 
If that $439 is correct, I am in at full retail and it leaves some $ left over for the wireless charging mat (if wireless charging is still an option).

i'm pretty certain it is still an option. VZW stores actually got the mats in last week.

yeah 439$ is a great price. This works out perfect for my timeline I plan on buying one at the end of July so by then hopefully they will be some Roms out for it.
