[Verizon] Inverted gapps

This rootzwiki thread has them. I haven't used these particular ones, but gapps are generally compatible across all Roms and phones. Read up in that thread for instructions and post your results!

Just downloaded a zip called inverte-pure-also.zip. The thread says it's password protected, and I found them password, but the zip seems to not be password protected. Not just that, but at what point do I go about choosing which apps get flashed?

Create a backup in recovery first and know how to get into it if you boot-loop.

If you flash it and get FC's, note which app is causing the problem and don't flash it next time. I've had great results with custom roms, but less good with stock roms.

The apps I linked to above, let you choose exactly what to install.

Sorry for the newbie question, but what's the difference beetween gapps and inverted gapps??

This is what inverted apps look like. (They are deliberately dark.)

That is awesome! Oh, the joys of learning new things when it comes to flashing...

These are good: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797292

I prefer the Aroma version, which lets you pick what to install.

Always make a backup in recovery before flashing inverted apps tho. :D

Sadly, these are no longer available and the links have been pulled.

Just want everyone to know that I am moving forward with different chapters in my life and I am no longer going to be doing development it has been a pleasure serving all of you this thread will be locked and you may start a new one in order to help each other out but I will no longer be providing updates etc. Thank you all for your generosity love and support.

Has anyone attempted to install the JustunBean inverted gapps on a 4.2.2 ROM? For whatever reason, all gapps except the text messaging app are working on CarbonRom. It force closes whenever I try to open it. Seems like it's Contacts and Messaging.

Yup, I have a few on my desktop as well. Not sure which ones work best tho. Sourcery has a minimus and maximus inverted collection, but make sure you have a recovery backup before doing that. The current ones are for full 4.2 roms only.

I'm on Sourcery with maximus (all the inverted apps they could find), and as soon as I opened Play Store, it reverted back to regular so apparently it was auto-updated.
