Verizon is confused...

So Verizon is pretty confused with my account.

They're supposed to trade my Incredible straight across for the Droid X no additional cost.

So, they can do that, wave restocking fee.
Problem is the rebate now, they're trying to figure out how to wave that.

This is mildly amusing...

I'm in the same boat, swapping my Inc for the X. They charged the $299 on my bill and when they get the Inc. back they will credit my account for $199. I still have to do the rebate dance and will pay off the rest of the X when the rebate comes in.

I got an instant rebate today in store when i bought my X so no mail in rebate hassle

Yeah I said no way will I pay rebate when I was told I would pay nothing.

So they're calling my local VZW stores to get me in to give my Inc back and get my X from them so it's straight across no issues.

I'm pretty irritated...
