[Verizon] JB Keyboard

One thing i regret after the upgrade to JB is the loss of punctuation bar above the keyboard, is this a setting I have missed? Or does someone have a keyboard to flash that will give it back?

And no paid apps.

My wife has JB and paid apps from my account work fine on her phone.
 
No swiftkey or anything like that.

I want the keyboard to have the punctuation (., ? !) ,where the suggested words go, when I haven't typed a word yet.
 
I agree the missing punctuation is frustrating to me as well. I caved and got lucky and caught swiftkey on sale for .99 and jumped on it.
 
I agree...really miss it. Is there a paid version with it. Basically I want the ics keyboard back with jellys

Just got it for .99 also. I use swype but like having Swiftkey in my arsenal bag. I use Swype for one handed situations.
 
Ooh Whee! The voice texting over Swype in Swiftkey is the new real time config. Nice!
 
Where is one of our amazing devs? Quick zip file would be nice. Hmmm it is down to .99 cents, might as well put that Nexus 7 credit to good use.
 
To get the punctuation bar back on the JB keyboard instead of next word prediction simply go into settings -> language and input -> hit the settings key for the AOSP keyboard or android keyboard -> scroll all the way down to advanced settings -> uncheck next word prediction.

I too prefer to have the punctuation bar instead of the next word prediction

Heh I hae no regrets on my .99, Swype, or with what comes on the device in my bag-o-tricks.

Im not perfectly happy with it yet, but i think I can get used to it. the number page throws me off a bit. Any idea what those arrows are good for?
