New Update

There's a d/l link in the phandroid article. I've d/l'd mine through the TBH app.

Immediately, what I've noticed is that the bootup time is fixed to just about a bit over a half a minute.

This is going to be a great base for our developers to work off of. (Meanwhile back to Sourcery.. I need my modz)

it's going to be another month before i can flash anything....(on travel out of the US) so by that time i'm sure there will be some good Roms based off of this and/or the official VZW build.

So I flashed last night without issues, but though the arrival claims to be prerooted, its not. Which is weird lol, but I'm not complaining lol. Figure I'd let you guys know

Is there any way to flash this without wiping data?

My wife's phone is on IMM76K stock/rooted. I read another post about updating to IMM76Q then he was able to flash JRO030 (I believe he wiped data though). If this is just stock ROM updated, then you shouldn't have to wipe, correct?

as a general rule of thumb, it is always recommended to wipe data when flashing another ROM, even if its an update. might leave some data behind that might conflict with the new ROM.

But we can't stop you, if you can back up the ROM before flashing, i'd say give it a try.

^ This.

Some roms come pre rooted now btw. I think I saw one or two on roots wiki

I flashed when it came out and re-rooted this morning just to be sure I was rooted, which I am, and unlocked and have been using it without problem except that I cannot make a back-up. I try through the recovery method and through ROM Manager app, neither will work. I have made many back ups before without problem on different ROM's. Now I get a message when I try and flash recovery through ROM Manager that says "An error occured while attempting to run privileged commands!" Same message when I try to fix permissions as well. Any guidance of what to do?

EDIT: Nevermind. Superuser needed updating for JB. Got it working now.
