[Verizon] [KERNEL][4.0.4] LeanKernel 3.10.0 (7/2)

I've just taken SS's of all my autobrightness settings and gamma/color settings. That way I always know what to tweak them back to when flashing something new :)

Wat I'm saying is I never touch the Gamma or Multipliers in Rom Control. Then when M5 hit lots of folks including me got the Green screen. So I ditched it. Now I load a Kernel and the Gamma requires to be pulled all the way back no longer happy @ default.

Whats going on with that?

Ahh yes the ever changing kernel vs gamma/color multi issues. Idk why, but have a feeling is due to the different kernel devs take different approaches to how it interacts with all the new GN amoled screen tweaks. I've stuck with franco and his app over the last couple months so I have not experienced it since then. I did experience though prior and it is annoying

I think you are thinking of fast usb charge. Noticed Imo has a fast AC charge option as well. I figured it shortened your batteries life or something.

oops you are correct. My reading skills are poor lately.

I have no idea about the facts. I do know common sense says "it ain't good for a battery". That's what my common sense tells me anyways

Well, I did a full wipe and install of B37 with success. Then installed a Lean Kernel. GREEN SCREEN!

What is up with that?

Just re-wiped, re-flashed B37 & Lean k 3.8.0 and have no green weirdness. So I'll eat the crow on that one.

I have been preoccupied building a new PC and am back to see a nice fast charge (FC) option and toggle with the B37 LK 3.8.0 combo. I like the Gears icon in the stats bar letting me know its in FC.

I will be watching the battery life in comparison to B34 & LK3.3.0. I was phenomenal.

Hey all. Just switched back to imo's after being on Faux's for a couple of months (if anyone is wondering why, the kernel rocks, battery life is outstanding, but Temple Run was too laggy :D ). So I just flashed 3.9.0 exp3 (180mhz) on AOKP B39. Recommended settings? Striving for battery life primarily, that's my main concern, but I'd also really like to be able to play Temple Run smoothly for the times I play :D

I find that 180 lags on my phone as well and it usually sits in 230 anyway, so I stopped flashing that version of the exps. I am on 3.9.3exp3 230 and I run at 230/1650 interactive x with through leantweaks w/ all leantweaks enabled beside fast charge and agrressive minfree. I OC the gpu to 512 as well. I get 4hrs+ with either battery, close to 5 with extended, wifi though.

4 hours? Geez what do you do! Lol. And what's the difference between 180 and 230? I flashed 180, haven't noticed any lag.

4+ hours of screen on time is what I meant. LOL!

As far as the 180 slot, per IMOSEYON, some phones don't like that slot. My phone is one of those phones.

Seems all fine here...and screen on time that's great! Lol. Right now I have 1060 Max 350 min because those were my Faux settings and I have interactiveX running...opinions? What to expect? What to change?

To potentially experience lag in certain places through the ROM, you would have to have your min set at 180. Other than that, your setup seems fine to me. You could use LeanKernel Tweaks to add some butter, bit this phone is already buttery. I use LKT for the extra slab of butter personally!

I tried LKT a long time ago but didn't notice anything...can you explain in simple terms what it is it's doing?

Also, anyone ever compared interactiveX and hotplugX performance and battery wise? I ran ondemand on Faux's and imo refers to hotplugX as ondemand's counterpart...

On a standard battery? I don't think that's possible on my phone.

Sure it is, it depends entirely what the screen brightness is set to. Someone using stock auto or setting it to 60% all the time probably won't get 4 hours of screen-on time, but if they're using very conservative brightness levels with a lot of inverted apps or black/dark screens, it's absolutely possible.

I'd love to find a kernel that is built for battery life, I get good battery but when I go to the hospital my battery idle drains like crazy even on the hospital wifi... Smh

I am running LK 3.9exp4....getting okay life...not too bad...but not great either. I am running 1650/350 on interactivex and the 230exp4.
