Root [Verizon] kingo

I would recommend backing up what you can to the PC, and removing the SD card. I don't trust the root programs to keep my data... Sounds like you guys too.
 
Yeah, this is the first phone that I've had that I always remove the SD card before flashing or even doing a cache wipe. Even the remote possibility of wiping my SD makes me sick to my stomach...lol
 
SUCCESS!

It took 2 computers and 5 attempts, but this puppy FINALLY got rooted! SuperSU is hot and active again, and Safestrap is in place. Backup made of the stock ROM.

Tomorrow? ROM, baby! I want plenty of time to set it up and explore the options that Hyperdrive has, and I can hardly wait for morning!

Nice Chief!! Beans has a ROM out, but I haven't used it on the N3. Hyperdrive just works really well for me so I have a hard time moving to another one. :D
