Verizon Kit Kat rolling out, how it went for me:

I'm stock, I updated yesterday, and have only noticed improvements:

Speed has noticeably improved, possibly because all the apps were "optimized" as part of the upgrade

Notifications screen is more crisp, due to a change in the stock font

Seems to take a little less time to recharge


I don't even mind that "GPS" is now "Location." So what was all the fuss!??!

Maybe this happened before and I never noticed it, but I find it odd that everytime the battery percentage increases or decreases the notification bar drops down when you're inside an app (battery % must be shown).Kind of annoying.

No need for a guide - just do it then rebuild and start from scratch, unfortunately. If you can, back up any photos that are not on the external card. Everything on the internal will be lost.
