[Verizon] Liquid Ice Cream Sandwich

No, I forgot about adb wireless. Project for the AM. As for the link I RT, er... reposted, the second method will make a flashable zip. It works too, did it last night.

I updated the link in the OP for the newest thread. Newest version allows customization of notification power widget. Liquid settings is no longer part of the system settings but an app. Search button can be toggled on as softkey.

Credit should be given. Liquid has always been kinda iffy on giving credit to CM for many of his tweaks. Most people don't care enough to comment but the dev that started it did. jdkoreclipse corrected it but the other guy was intent on making his point
Reminds me of another forum frequently linked to at AF...;)

Liquid's roms have always been based on CM once stable releases come along the changelog should show credits as well.

Back to the rom. I noticed there is an updater native within the rom so I am guessing you can get updates without having to frequently check forums if you don't want to :)

I do not see the install instructions on the link for this. So, is it the basic...reboot into CWR, wipe everything, dalvik, data, factory reset...etc.? then install .zip. No special instructions?

Yes, make a backup, wipe data, cache, dalvik, and system. Then install from zip.

I am merging this with the Liquid ICS thread

Ok, I just rebooted into CWR did all the wipes of everything and factory reset and installed this and now I cannot get out of CWR. Everytime I select and press 'reboot system now' the screen goes blank (black) and then if I press the power button again the screen comes right back up to CWR's menu. Am I missing something?

I think you turned off the back function (or something odd like that) press volume up and down at the same time when in CWM menu until you see "Back key enabled" then you should be able to reboot.

It did say something about 'back' being turned off. I just got it to reboot right before you posted. Thanks!

What turns off the 'back' function in CWR? Don't know how I did that.

I think it has something to do with the volume up and volume down keys being pressed at the same time or right after eachother quickly. I don't understand why that function would be needed but it has happened to me too several time.

The first boot on this rom is a long boot by the way

Got it up and running...love having to get all my settings back into my phone...but part of it...lol!

So, now that I have Liquid installed I can change to the lean kernel and they play nice together?

Thanks for the help.

Is Google stuff working with Liquid? I went to us my calendar and it is prompting me to add an account. When I try to add my gmail account that is already on my phone I get an error that that account is already in use on the this phone. Do I need to install gapps or something?

I can pull up my calendar and then when I select to put in a new event I get this:

No Calendars

Before you can add an event, you must add at least one calendar account to you device and make a calendar visible. Touch add account an account (if you just added an account, wait for it to finish syncing and try again). Or touch cancel and make sure at least one calendar is visible.

When I go into settings on the calendar I see General Settings, xxxxx@gmail.com (my accounts), and About Calendar. When I select my account is says No Calendars.

I am not sure. I don't use the stock calendar.

If you go to the phone settings and go to accounts and sync does it show you gmail account as being linked to the calendar?

Under Accounts and Settings for my gmail account is shows:

Sync Browser
Sync Contacts
Sync Gmail

Calendar is not in there

I'm not sure what's going on with this rom, but for some reason I don't believe Liquid is building it. Perhaps they are using his source but I know he doesn't have a GN yet so I don't know how he would be doing it. I'm not entirely sure about this so don't quote me, although I did donate to his "help get Liquid a GN" fund. Once he starts building this on his own I'll flash it immediately.
